Blue Robotics Product Change Notifications (PCNs) provide advance notice of revisions that may affect product integration, compatibility, or performance. These updates cover design changes, critical firmware updates, product discontinuations (EOL), and any modifications that could impact form, fit, or function.

PCNs do not include any marketing or promotions, and you’ll only receive notifications for the product categories you select.

Watertight Enclosure Aluminum Tubes Updated Design (removed racking grooves)

CHANGE DESCRIPTION: All aluminum tubes have been updated to remove the racking grooves featured in the previous version. All aluminum tubes have been replaced with new part numbers. Old versions of aluminum tubes have been retired and remaining stock has been moved to Watertight Enclosure Tubes (Reduced Depth Rating) product page.

CUSTOMER IMPACT: Minimal. Tubes have the same internal and external dimensions. 6″ and 8″ series tube have reduced depth rating to 800 meters. All information and updated CAD files are available on the Watertight Enclosure Tubes product page.

IMPLEMENTATION DATE: April 8, 2026.

M10-8.5 WetLink Penetrator Conductor Bore Diameter Increase

CHANGE DESCRIPTION: The internal conductor bore diameter of the M10-8.5-LC and M10-8.5-HC WetLink Penetrators will increase from 6.0 mm to 6.5 mm to improve fit with recommended cables.

CUSTOMER IMPACT: No impact. The compatible cable jacket diameter range remains unchanged.

IMPLEMENTATION DATE: Estimated part changeover by end of Q1 2026.

Changing surface finish of Watertight Enclosure End Caps

PRODUCTS: All 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, and 8″ series aluminum Watertight Enclosure End Caps.

CHANGE DESCRIPTION: Surface finish of all series aluminum Watertight Enclosure End Caps is changing to #120 sandblasting.

CUSTOMER IMPACT: Visual change only. The #120 sandblasting finish will be more consistent with the current tube finish. No performance or compatibility changes.

IMPLEMENTATION DATE: Sandblasted end caps will be phased in as existing inventory is depleted.
