Education
Well, we’re a fan of STEAM.
Why? Because at Blue Robotics, we believe our youth are our future! And we appreciate the importance of providing said youth with the tools, knowledge, and experience necessary to foster their growth and curiosity in marine technology.
Hence, this page. Welcome to our ever-evolving treasure chest of resources to help create hands-on, real-world experiences for students, encourage educators to implement discovery-based learning into their curriculum, and inspire a community of future thinkers and doers, driven to understand and protect our oceans.
We invite you to take a look at how we are getting involved, and envision how you might join in on the ride.
We are excited to introduce “BlueSTEAM Ahead,” an innovative educational initiative designed to bring cutting-edge marine technology directly into the hands of educators and students. This program equips classrooms with the tools and curriculum necessary to unlock the mysteries of our blue planet, fostering a deep connection between students and their ocean environment. Just as telescopes and microscopes have unlocked the cosmos and the microscopic world, ROVs and other marine technologies offer unparalleled access into the ocean’s depths.
In its second year, “BlueSTEAM Ahead” is already making waves. Starting with select high schools in California, the initiative has been pivotal in exposing educators and students to the potentials of ROV technology. Through hands-on field experiences, students not only gain practical knowledge but also develop a profound sense of wonder about the underwater world.

Our forums are a space for us to support and interact with anyone using our vehicles, software, and products, but also somewhere to share things you build and dives you go on, along with all the third party products that you can (or want to) use with our equipment. This is a place for our awesome community to share, discuss, and explore exciting ideas, projects, and products in the world of marine robotics. We also encourage the discussion of exploration, science, and furthering our shared understanding of all things underwater.
We’ve even created a dedicated STEM category for all things marine robotics and education! Here, we hope students, educators, parents, and anyone else interested in STEM can chat about all the things! Can’t wait to chat!
