Product Description

The Battery Cell Checker is a convenient way to monitor the charge status and health of any 2-6 cell (2-6s) lithium ion battery. It plugs into the battery’s balance plug (a white JST-XH connector) and tells you individual cell voltage, overall pack voltage, and the overall state-of-charge.

We use these in the field to check each battery before a dive and to sort out charged and discharged batteries afterwards.

Quick Start

1. Plug the balance plug of a LiPo/Li-Ion battery into the “Lithium” port with the ground (black wire) connected to the pin marked with a “-“.

2. “LiPo” should be selected for the battery type for LiPo batteries. If using the 18Ah Li-Ion battery, select the “Li-Ion” setting. Press the “TYPE” button until the proper battery type is selected.

3. Pressing the “CELL” button will cycle through the battery cell voltages, with the final selection being the total voltage of the battery pack. “Total” will be shown on the LCD screen.

4. Pressing the “MODE” button will cycle through the following: total pack voltage, voltage gap between highest and lowest cell voltages, highest cell voltage and lowest cell voltage.
